The course subject “Knowledge of the Land” is intended to create pride and good sense of Thailand of Kasetsart University which plays a role in Thai society and the world as an institution of higher education, reflecting its identity “To build the science of the land.” In addition, it aims to strengthen and develop students as good people with skills in learning and working within the framework of the university’s identity in order to qualify for citizenship of the nation and citizenship of the world. Course content is related to the identity of Kasetsart University, Knowledge of the land, learning the recognition of Thai Citizenship and World Citizenship, strengthening and developing skills in learning and working towards goals in the context of good self-reliance.
Remark : All activities in 6.1 refer to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the global goals, especially relating to Goal 15 : Life on Land which Ensure the conservation, restoration and sustainable use of terrestrial and inland freshwater ecosystems and their services, in particular forests, wetlands, mountains and drylands, in line with obligations under international agreements
