6.8-9  Chalermphrakiat Sakon Nakhon Province Campus joined with farmers in Sakon Nakhon province in the activity on ‘United Harvest Day’ on 19 April 2018. Deputy Commanding General, 29th  Military Circle; administrators and staff of Kasetsart University; administrators and staff of Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives; high rank officials of Sakon Nakhon province city hall; and students from University of Bordeaux, France joined the activity at Nong Han Chalermphakiat Park.

6.8-10 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trin Saengsuwan, Vice President for Kamphaeng Saen Campus received a plaque of achievement on KU Eco Green Campus project.

The project is registered as one of Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program or T-VER. Owing to Kamphaeng Saen Campus separated area of 235.77 rai within the campus into 3 zones for difference purposes as follows:

Zone 1 – 100 rai of forest area

Zone 2 – forest area

Zone 3 –Yangna tree ( Dipterocarpus alatus Roxb.) planting area

6.8-11 Kamphaeng Saen Campus organised a training program on earthworm farming for senior person. The training is under capacity building program for food security of senior farmers from senior clubs in Bang Len and Tung Krapung Home, Nakhon Pathom Province.

6.8-12 The Faculty of Engineering at Kamphaeng Saen displayed a moulding machine for food container made from banana leaf at the BIOFACH Southeast Asia- the biggest showcase on organic agriculture and nature in Southeast Asia region at IMPACT Arena and IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani between 12-15 July 2018.

6.8-13 Kamphaeng Saen Campus has accumulated knowledge of research for almost 10 years. Many research products, under the brand ‘KU’, have been produced i.e. pasteurized goat milk, goat milk ice cream, goat milk yogurt, goat milk powder, stewed goat meat with Chinese herb, partridge egg tofu, and ‘KU More’- a prototype store. Academic services are also provided such as  training on food safety standard production; carcass cutting for value add; quality product measurement; and meat, milk, egg product processing to those who interested to bring knowledge to commercial.

6.8-14 A training on using of water resources for sustainable shrimp aquaculture was organised for 19 farmers from Kamphaeng Saen District on 25 July 2018.

6.8-15 The Office of Extension and Training at Kamphaeng Saen organized agricultural flea market on every first Saturday of month. A training on extra professional skill are provided so as to farmers be able to increase income. In addition, organic agricultural products and healthy food are on sale as well.

6.8-16 A training course on Community Marketers was organized for 43 farmers from Bang Pla Subdistrict,  Bang Len District, Nakhon Pathom Province on August 10 and 14, 2018. They were interested in production and marketing of Gor Kor 43 rice varieties.
